Tours
The Cooperative welcomes you for a tour of its facility and to see for yourself “freedom” and “democracy” in action. Tours begin around 11:00 am and last about one and a half hours, which includes a 20 minute DVD about democratic education. To sign up for a tour, please contact us. Bring a Friend to CO-OP Days
If you have a friend or family member participating in The Freedom School Cooperative, please ask to come visit that day. Children will experience first hand what it means to “be free”. Dates for Bring Friend Days are Friday, October 16th and Monday January 25th.
Poolesville Day

FreedomHill will have a booth at the 2009 Poolesville Day Street Fair. Look for us at the corner of Fisher Avenue and The Poolesville Library parking lot. Poolesville Day has lots of fun for the whole family. Activities include a town parade, arts and crafts vendors, bake sales, food and beverages, and other forms of entertainment. This year Poolesville Day is celebrating its 19th year of community fun. www.poolesvilleday.com
Green Festival
Friday, October 9,. 10, 11 at Washington Convention Center
FreedomHil Cooperative, Fairhaven School in Upper Marlboro, The Circle School in Harrisburg, PA, The Highland School in West VA, and Arts and ideas Subudy in Baltimore MD are all joining together at a booth at this year’s Green Festival. The Green Festival is considered a premier sustainability event where you can learn about the “best in green”. There are many vendors, leaders, educators, how to, organic food and drink, music etc. www.greenfestivals.org
Fall Open House

Our fall open house is from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a brief introduction and discussion period at 2:30 pm. All are welcome to visit our building and enjoy the natural surroundings, and meet the children, parents and other members of our community.
