Fees
Families may enroll at anytime during the school year and the membership fees will be prorated accordingly. When a family enrolls for the school year they must be willing to commit to the full year. It is important to recognize that all families need time to adjust to a new environment, especially one with different expectations. With that in mind families must be willing to trust the process of self directed learning and the intense work that goes into building a community.
Membership Fees
For the 2009-2010 school year, membership fees are $7,800 with a discount for additional children. The second child’s membership is $5,850 and the third child is $4,690 and the fourth is $3,987. FreedomHill Cooperative has a sliding scale available and can be worked out on a case-by-case basis with our Administration Clerk and/or in conjunction with an outside financial assessment and management service.
Although we do encourage families to pay the full year’s membership fees upfront, there are several payment options to consider all with a very small interest fee. Whichever payment plan is decided, the first payment is due upon enrollment and the last payment needs to be made by January of the current school year unless other arrangements have been made.
Visiting Week
For the 2009-2010 school year, there will be a $150 fee for attending a visiting week at FreedomHill Cooperative. This fee is due the first day of the visiting week.
